Preparation standard:
1. Shoulder equipment should not be prepared in corners and sharp edge areas, the shoulder should be prepared with a rounded inner edge or inclined surface.
2. The cutting edge preparation needs to reserve a space of 1mm to ensure that the ceramic block can achieve the ideal grinding effect during the CAD/CAM processing.
3. If possible, it is best to prepare only the enamel layer in the preparation of the incisal margin, and avoid preparing the concentrated area at the point where the stress is concentrated.
Production Process
1. Scan
Support traditional crafts and oral scanning, have obtained corresponding intraoral data, and transfer the scanned data to CAD design software for restoration design
2. Design
Use dental CAD software for restoration design
3. Typesetting
Typesetting according to the correct operation process of the typesetting software
Precautions for typography:
1) The glass ceramic specification data in the software should be consistent with the actual glass ceramic specification
2) Be sure to choose the correct type of restoration
3) When adjusting the angle and position of the prosthesis, the position of the prosthesis should be adjusted according to the design in-position direction as the cutting direction
4) Add the connecting rod to the protruding position of the tooth, the diameter of the connecting rod can be adjusted according to the size of the restoration, the diameter range is 1.2-3mm
5) The distance between the connecting rod and the neck line should not be too close, and try to avoid the near/distal contact area
4. Cutting
Cut according to the correct operation process of the cutting machine
Note for cutting:
1) When installing the porcelain block, be sure to check whether the porcelain block iron handle is installed in place, otherwise the cutting data will be inaccurate.
2) Be sure to maintain sufficient air pressure
3) Regularly calibrate, clean, lubricate, and maintain the equipment to ensure that there is no shaking or abnormal noise during cutting, and the accessories should be replaced in time if there is a problem
4) The cutting data of the cutting bur must be recorded, and it can be used for cutting restorations within the service life.
5) Be sure to check whether the bur sequence is installed correctly
6) It is necessary to ensure that the concentration and level of the cutting fluid meet the requirements, and it can be completely sprayed on the tip of the bur
5. Polish
In the "purple" state, the strength is higher than that of the glass phase, and relative to the crystalline phase, the strength is low, and the edge stability is high, which reduces the wear rate of the bur. Therefore, it needs to be polished. Please polish the restoration when it is in the "purple" state.
Matters needing attention in polishing:
1) The special grinding bur for glass ceramics must be used. It is very important to use the correct grinding tool to polish and adjust the restoration. If an improper grinding tool is used, there will be marks of edge grinding, or the temperature is too high.
2) Polish the phone to be stable without vibration
3) It is necessary to put a clean soft towel or sponge pad on the table top to avoid the scars or breakage caused by the falling of the teeth.
6. Calcining and glazing
This product is purple before calcination, it will crystallize into normal tooth color after calcination
Glazing method:
Method 1: Glazing and calcination are completed in one step
Method 2: calcining first, and then individualized external dyeing
Calcination curve
Starting temperature: 450℃,
Drying time: 4min,

Cautions for calcination:
1) The maximum temperature holding time of veneer and inlay is 2min, single crown and pontic is 6min
2) Do not use air conditioning or direct natural wind to prevent breaks or cracks caused by sudden cooling. Take the teeth to cool down before taking out the restoration.
3) Do not directly touch the high-temperature restoration with sudden cold tools such as metals
4) During calcination, the sintering paste must be packed in the restoration crown to prevent deformation of the restoration
